At Ocaquatics we make investing in our team members a priority. We offer a variety of Training & Development workshops so our team can provide exceptional service for our OcaFamilies. Our Leadership Team also attends monthly Lunch & Learns to enhance professional and personal development. It both grows their skills and fosters a sense of fulfillment and motivation, leading to a highly engaged and committed team. We want to provide amazing and fun swimming lessons for our Miami community, because we know how important this life saving skill is for every family. Our team members strive to make a difference every day.
Building a great team starts with hiring the right team members. We actively seek out positive, fun people who love working with families! We believe that a joyful, energetic team creates an enjoyable, friendly environment. We recruit our team members mainly through referrals from our very own families and team members as well as through job fairs, high school and college visits, community events, Indeed and more. We also believe workplace inclusivity is important. We are privileged to partner with the DeMoya Foundation, which creates employment opportunities for young adults with unique abilities and provides employer and employee support. We are always hiring!
Ocaquatics Swim School values open communication and recognizes the importance of feedback. We encourage our team members and our OcaFamilies to share their thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. We believe that by actively seeking feedback, we can identify areas for improvement and continuously strengthen our services. Each semester we survey our team and OcaFamilies about how they feel and how we can improve. Also, our leadership team generates weekly “Ideas for Improvement” to discuss and implement in order to better serve everyone.
