A Behind the Scenes Tour at Ocaquatics

Ocaquatics opened its first swim school facility in February 1994 and is celebrating almost 26 years of business in South Florida. We began doing private lessons in our client’s homes and now years later we have built 5 state of the art, indoor facilities in Miami.

Continue reading for a behind the scenes tour where we can share some of the innovations we have in our facilities, designed to provide the ultimate in both safety and swimmer comfort.

At Ocaquatics the weather is never a concern and you can swim all year round in our pools. Our indoor teaching facilities feature 25,000 to 36,000 gallon heated pools solely devoted to swimming instruction.

Because we care about the safety of our team members and our families, we have cutting-edge technologies that include a Stage One Drinking Water Grade Filtration System, which uses an EPA-approved process for removal of Giardia and Cryptosporidium. In every one of our Ocaquatics facilities, we use specialized chlorination system that enables Ocaquatics to use less chemicals in the pool for less caustic water and a more pleasant water experience for students, parents and instructors. Our pools also have a non-chlorine Ultra-violet (UV) treatment system to provide 100% protection against the spread of water-borne diseases.

To make each of our facilities energy-efficient we have heat exchanger dehumidification system which treat the air in the pool room while heating the pool. We also have back-up high-efficiency water heaters, motion sensor lights, and insulated pool cover that reduces heating costs by 66%. In addition we also have variable frequency drive that reduces pump energy by 20% during the day and 90% at night.

It doesn't matter if you are in Kendall, Tropical, Northwest, Eureka or Gables we guarantee you that your child will get the best experience and the best swimming lessons in Miami. Click here to learn more about us.
