Rescheduling a Missed Lesson
Should you miss your regular lesson, the opportunity exists for you to reschedule up to 2 classes per term. You DO NOT need to contact us before missing a lesson. We understand that children sometimes get sick in the middle of the day or unexpected delays keep you from attending your lessons. You may reschedule 2 lessons per term. In addition, you will still have the opportunity to reschedule any lesson that is cancelled by Ocaquatics due to weather, pool or staffing issues. Rescheduled lessons must be completed during the term during which the classes were missed.

Special Rescheduling Days
Special rescheduling days will be held throughout the term. Rescheduled classes will only be allowed during these days. It is your responsibility to attend your rescheduled lessons or they will be forfeited. Additional Special Rescheduling Days will be added as needed.

Family Holidays and Prolonged Absences
Our lessons continue throughout the year (including school holidays) with the exception of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend, and a 5-6 week period in December/January. If you are going to be away for an extended time, you have the option of suspending your lessons and re-booking them upon your return. Your remaining balance will be held on your Ocaquatics account until the end of the calendar year. However, we cannot guarantee that your same day/time/teacher will be available when you return.

Refunds/Cancellations
If your child is unable to continue in their lessons with Ocaquatics for whatever reason, you are welcome to transfer your remaining credit to another student or hold your credit on your account until the end of the calendar year. A $25 REFUND FEE WILL APPLY IF A REFUND IS REQUESTED. 

Weather Cancellations
If it is raining at your home or business, do not assume that it is raining here. We do swim in the rain, as long as conditions are safe. We will close for lightning and hard, persistent rain. You will have the opportunity to reschedule any class cancelled by Ocaquatics due to poor weather. Please assume your class is on unless you receive a call from our office stating otherwise.  

Special Circumstances During Tropical Systems
WE WILL CLOSE DURING HURRICANE OR TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS. We will reopen once power is restored and the director thinks that it is appropriate. If you have any questions about whether or not the swim school is open after a storm, please call our office and listen to the recorded voicemail message. During times of uncertainty, we will keep all messages up to date.
