Information
A non-refundable registration fee for every swimmer is due upon registration and every subsequent January that the swimmer remains registered. The registration fee is $15 for an individual swimmer or $25 for a family. This covers insurance and the cost of registration.
Monthly Tuition
Tuition is $70 to swim once per week. This fee is based on 4 classes per month. We will adjust or prorate your monthly tuition for any holidays or extra days that fall on your swim day. Credit cards that are on file will be charged on the 20th of every month.
Siblings registered at the same time will receive a 10% discount on lesson fees. We also offer a 10% discount to any child swimming more than once a week.
Membership
As an Ocaquatics Member you will place your credit card on file in the secure parent portal. This card will be charged the 20th of every month for the following month's tuition unless you make payment using cash or check before that date. If you wish to withdraw from classes, please let us know before the 16th of the month in writing or at our front desk at our Kendall location and we will remove your credit card from file and you will be dropped for the next month's classes. We will send you an email on the 12th of the month to remind you when tuition will be charged.
As a member, you will secure your child's enrollment in the same day and time each month. Your child will stay in their same class until they are moved to a different level. You are still welcome to make adjustments to your schedule as needed using our parent portal or by calling the office.
Also, as a member, your swimmer will be allowed to reschedule one missed class per month for each time they swim per week. For instance, if your swimmer is registered twice a week for the month, they are allowed to reschedule two missed classes.
Group Class Package Option
If you prefer not to become a member, then you may purchase a package of 12 group swimming classes for $210. Swimmers may swim as many times per week as they would like depending on availability. There is no reschedule opportunity for this option.
Payment
We accept cash, check, Master Card and Visa.
Returned Check Fee
There will be a $15 fee for all returned checks.
No Refund Policy
Ocaquatics Swim School does not give refunds for any reason. Should you wish to withdraw from classes a credit for the remaining balance will remain on your Ocaquatics account for use towards future lessons, camps or parties.
Parental Supervision
Parents must supervise their children before and after their swimming class. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO ENTER THE POOL UNTIL THE INSTRUCTOR IS READY TO BEGIN THEIR CLASS!
Use of Facilities
Families are allowed to use the shower and bathroom facilities before and after their classes.
Diapers
Every child under the age of three (whether or not they are toilet trained) or an older child who is still learning to use the potty must wear a snug fitting non-disposable swim diaper. Wearing only a disposable diaper (like a Little Swimmers) is not allowed. These diapers do not keep a solid from entering the pool. Your young child will not be permitted to enter the pool without a non-disposable diaper. Non-disposable diapers can be purchased on our pool deck.
In addition, please do not bring your child to class if he/she has had diarrhea within the past two days.
Class Start and Finish
All students should be present 5 minutes prior to the start of their swimming class. If you arrive after the class has started, please send your child to the deck supervisor on duty. As a courtesy to all clients, lessons end at their scheduled time even for late arrivals.
Teacher Absences
Unfortunately, there may be times when your child's teacher may be absent. We will always provide a substitute teacher of equal qualifications. Since we do realize that consistency is important in your child's swimming experience, we will do our best to minimize these occurrences.
