We require campers to be signed in and out by a parent or guardian each day.

Payments
Payment is due in full for your first week at time of registration. Payment is due one week prior to each additional week.

After Care

After care is available thru Gulliver Academy. Please call 305-665-3593 X3315.

Friend Requests

We must have the request ahead of time - not the Monday morning of camp. We cannot make changes on Monday morning due to group ratios. We do our best to put the same-aged friends in a group together. Be aware, if the friends are not the same age they will be moved to the younger age group.

Cancellations and Withdrawals

If your child needs to cancel their registration for whatever reason a Withdrawal Forms must be received 14 days prior to the week of withdrawal for a full refund minus a $25 refund fee.  If your Withdrawal Form is  received less than 14 days prior there will be a  $50 withdrawal fee per child and the remaining payment will be refunded. Your entire payment will be forfeited if you withdraw  after start of session. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR MAKEUPS FOR MISSED DAYS. WE DO NOT OFFER PARTIAL WEEKS. OUR STAFF IS HERE FOR YOU EVERYDAY.

Weather

We do swim in the rain, but NOT if conditions are dangerous. We only close the pool for lightning and hard, persistent rain. The counselors will provide age appropriate indoor activities for your camper. We will close during Hurricane or Tropical Storm Warnings.

What to Bring

Campers must wear gym shoes to camp. Please, also pack sandals or flip flops.

Bring a bag with 2 towels, swimsuit, hat and sunscreen. Please label everything!

Please come to camp with sunscreen on. Our staff will reapply sunscreen to campers throughout the day.

Do not bring any valuables or camp distractions (gameboys, cell phones, cards, or personal sports equipment).

What is a typical day?

8:40 am - 9:00 am
Drop off – Parents/guardians drop off and sign their camper in with their assigned group. Each group consist of approximately 15 campers and two counselors, one female and one male. The groups are divided by age. The two counselors are in charge of their group for the entire week.
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
The morning is split into 45 minute rotations. The counselors will take their groups to different activities. At each area there is a leader/coach to run the group through different skills and games. Activities will include a daily swimming lesson, organized pool events, field activities (like slip ‘n slide and kickball), and arts and crafts.

12:30 pm
Summer Splash Participants go home. Children in extended care with Gulliver Academy will be brought to the After Care office and checked in.
